The first PPP rail transit project of Sui -Chong cooperation is opened for trial operation

On June 18, the Chongqing Metro PPP project, the Chongqing Metro Line 4 of the Chongqing Metro Group, was opened in the early stage of operation.

Chongqing Rail Transit Line 4 is the backbone line planned by the Chongqing Rail Network. The second phase of the Tangjiabun Station (excluding) ~ Huangling Station (Rich Shipping Station) is about 32.8 kilometers in length, and there are 15 stations on the entire line. Among them, 5 elevated stations and 10 underground stations. This project, as the advanced manufacturing industry bond in the "One Heart and Four Belt" in Chongqing Liangjiang New District. After the official opening of the traffic, it will not only alleviate the traffic pressure in the central urban area, but also support and guide the optimization of urban space layouts. Promote the cooperative development of Chengdu -Chongqing Shuangcheng Economic Zone to play an important role.

In 2019, Guangzhou Metro Group, China Railway Co., Ltd. and China Railway Development Investment Group Co., Ltd. formed a consortium to win the PPP project of Chongqing Rail Transit Line 4. In the PPP mode, it is responsible for the operation and maintenance of Chongqing Rail Line 4, with a total mileage of about 48.58 kilometers and 24 stations. The franchise period is 30 years. The project is also the first line operated by the cooperation between Guangzhou and Chongqing.
