On August 22, at the fourteenth press conference of the New Crown Epidemic Prevention and Control Work in the Tibet Autonomous Region, the spokesperson and the deputy secretary -general of the government of the Tibet Autonomous Region Government Dan Zengzhuzhu were released.

From 0:00 to 24:00 on August 21, 55 new local new crown pneumonia were added (26 cases in Lhasa, 25 cases of Shigatse, 2 cases of Niande, and 2 cases of Ali region). 494 newly added infections (including 169 cases in Lhasa, 175 cases of Shigatse, 43 cases of Shannan City, 32 cases in Nyingchi, 5 cases in Changdu, 30 cases of Naqu City, and 40 cases in Ali region).

From 0:00 to 14:00 on August 22, 9 cases of new local new coronary pneumonia were added in the region (including 6 cases in Changdu and 3 cases in Ali).
