This summer, 27 -year -old Luo Shichen cut short hair for nearly ten years. The history teacher of the Xiamen Datong Middle School donated his hair to the tumor patients who lost their hair because of chemotherapy.
I saw the video on the Internet and moved the donation
Since childhood, Luo Shichen has fluttering hair, and she pursues classical beauty. Ten years ago, her hair set her shortest record. In order to prepare for the college entrance examination, Luo Shichen had to cut his long hair to the shoulder. However, since then, she has basically never been willing to move her hair.
Luo Shichen said yesterday that in her sophomore year, her hair grew to the waist, and she was even more reluctant to cut it. I repaired my hair every year and kept on the waist.
What promoted Luo Shichen's baby's hair was the donation record video she saw on the website earlier this year, so she knew that her hair could play a public welfare role.
Most of the wigs on the market are made of chemical fiber. However, patients with chemotherapy, especially children, cannot expose artificial wigs of chemical fiber materials. Real people without hot hair are the best wig materials they can use.
However, the price of the wigs made by the real hair is very expensive, and it is difficult for patients with tumor patients who have spent a lot of medical expenses. Luo Shichen found the "Uzi Ribbon" public welfare project affiliated to the Cancer Hospital of Chongqing University on the Internet. It collected donors' hair beams and handed it to professional producers to make wigs. Patients who lose their hair due to tumor chemotherapy can apply for a wig freely to the "Usus".
Luo Shichen said that her original intention was to reduce the economic burden for patients a little. However, after further understanding, she believed that, compared with material support, donations can also give patients a strong spiritual support.
The girl who graduated from the Department of History of Xiamen University said that patients often have inferiority after shaving, especially female patients, so children are vulnerable to other people's strange eyes and exclusion. Wigs can help them return to their families and society better, and they can also feel the concern and love of society for them.
Go back to my hometown to cut long hair and send it out
The conditions for donating are: the hair cannot be dyed or scalded in the past year, and at least 30cm must be donated. Luo Shichen's hair meets the requirements, and the time of cutting hair is different.
In mid -July, Luo Shichen returned to his hometown Longyan and decided to complete the matter in her hometown. One of the reasons was that she would take three years in high school and would be very busy.
Although she has already been determined to donate, she is still a bit reluctant. Luo Shichen said that before she cut her hair, she took a group of photos for her long hair, and then set off to the barber shop with a soft ruler.
There is also a request to donate, and you must wash your hair and blow your heart. Immediately afterwards, the hairdresser tied a small rubber band at 40cm from the end of the hair. Luo Shichen said that because of the psychological preparation before, at the moment the hairdresser picked up the scissors, "it felt okay."
Within twenty minutes, she was cut off for nearly ten years of long hair and was cut 40cm and sent out. Her waist has long hair. Last week, Luo Shichen received a certificate from the Cancer Hospital affiliated to Chongqing University. The certificate wrote: "Donation of Usi with selflessly, healing patients with tumors, contributing to the" Uls "love donation activities of the Cancer Hospital affiliated to Chongqing University." According to reports, it requires about 10 donors to make a wig
At the beginning of August, Luo Shichen returned to school. Her colleague said that we did not know that she donated her hair and only knew she cut her hair.
Luo Shichen did not hide, and she told the students where their hair was going. She believes that let more people know that donations can bring more cancer patients with love and warmth.
"Leave long hair together," she wrote in the circle of friends.
