In an interview with Tas Society, Pan Jin said that under the current circumstances, the Russian side decided to use the "Beixi-2" infrastructure on its domestic territory for gasification operation in northwestern Russia. "If the German side decides to put this natural gas pipeline into operation, then only one of the pipelines can be incorporated into work at this stage." He also pointed out that the European Union has long obstructed the "Beixi-2" pipeline project. The "No. 3 Natural Gas instruction Amendment" is specifically targeted at the "Beixi-2" project to make it in the position of inequality with other natural gas pipelines, violating the legal interests of the investor of the project.

Pan Jin said that "Beixi-2" has completed the preparations for gas supply in December last year, but the German government temporarily frozen the project with the encouragement of the United States, Poland and the Baltic nations. He said that although the move of German people worsening and the development of enterprises, the EU and German leadership still refused to launch the "Beixi-2" project.

Pan Jin said that the current number of natural gas supplied by Russia is determined by the existing technical capabilities of the "Beixi-1" natural gas pipeline. At present, Russia's influence on Europe is completely due to the impact of Canada, the European Union, and the United Kingdom, which leads to the maintenance and transportation of the Siemens turbine at the Poltovaya Press Station of the pipeline.
