On the evening of August 2nd, she looked forward to a short time of rain in a few minutes and collects rainwater with all utensils. When the rain stopped, she collected two barrels. But this is nothing to do. At noon, the sun burned, and the water poured into the ground was dry again.

According to the Ministry of Water Resources, since June this year, the rainfall in the Taihu Basin is more than 70 % less than the same period of the same year, especially the rainfall during the rainy period is serious, which has led to the continued decline in the water level of Taihu Lake. Starting in May and June of this summer, Wuxi began to dry. Recently, we have been here for more than forty days, and it has always been about 40 degrees.

According to the reason, Wuxi is the hometown of rain. Because there is a rainy season in June, it will rain for half a month, and the annual precipitation is the highest in June.

However, this year, the rainy season became a dry plum rain. Dry plum rainy days. I counted it myself and compared the previous annual precipitation of Wuxi with this year. From April, this year's precipitation has fallen by 58 58 %.

Not to mention that for more than forty years, I have even said that even my parents, seventy -eighty years old. The first time I encountered Wuxi had such a high temperature and continuous drought, it was really a decades.

Wuxi is a small city. It is not big. In the past, it was raining everywhere. This year it is where a cloud is, and you will be in that small place. Often it is in the next heavy rain elsewhere, and there is no rain in our vegetable field. My home is 10 kilometers away from the vegetable land. Sometimes the home has been in the heavy rain in the house. The vegetable fields 10 kilometers away are still white clouds and bright sun.

I rented a piece of land on the nearby farm. A total of 40 acres should be added up to the farm, and the sharing was leased to us. We have a group of people in it, all of them are farmers. We have about 1,000 square meters, and my personal words have hundreds of square meters. Come here to plant the land yourself to eat your own healthy dishes.

Our land is very good, in a landscape city in Wuxi, where there are mountains and rivers. And it is particularly close to Taihu, a few kilometers of straight distance. The leaders of the farm surrounded the land that had been idle before, reinstated it to the earth, and returned to the planting vegetables after the agricultural land.

During the sowing in April and May, I never thought of encountering this weather at all. It was normal at that time, and it was a little bit dry in April. But we have the rainy season every year, so we don't think it is a matter. As a result, this year's high temperature was particularly early and drought. This sun was grilled. Now the soil in the ground is cracking because there is no water.

We usually use pond water to pour the irrigation land. The water in the pond has not rained and it has not stored water. It has been killed. It is not completely dry, and it becomes mud. Originally, we had a pump with pumping water. The pump was mixed with soil, and the water could not be pumped, and we couldn't bear it.

It's really hard to grow vegetables now. I only have time on the weekend. It is not dazzling some time ago. I went to the vegetable field at about four o'clock. The farm helped us to find a way to get a little groundwater, that is, the deep well water, about 40 meters. But I can't bear to use the groundwater. If there is no rain, I don't think there are not many groundwater.

In the past, do not water the ground. On the one hand, we are particularly powerful in June and July. There will be a typhoon from time to time in July, from time to time the next rain. Our water is completely sufficient, there are water everywhere, and the ponds are full.

Now, the labor cost of this kind of watering is very large. I went to the weekend one week before, because now I am too dry, I will go to two or three trips a week. I usually go to work and rush over to water until it is dark for about two or three hours. It takes at least six or seven hours of waters in that week, not to mention on the weekend.

This water is to hand in the pond that is far away from the side. With the large mineral water bottle, a ten -liter of one, a bottle and a bottle are lifted in, and then pour a little water.

When I mentioned the water, it was mainly heavy, and I couldn't move. Some people use tricycles, like me, drive themselves, put water and carry them into the end of the car, and then drive to the door of the farm, stop the car and then enter the farm, and there are more than 100 meters to my vegetable field. A barrel is a 12 -liter water. I took two barrels at a time, and I had to rest several times on the road. Some people took the white bucket and a small cart, and pushed a few barrels over a car. The crops this year have died, and even some fruit trees have died because they are too drought. There are a lot of cucumbers, and several batches have not been eaten. The green leafy vegetables such as hollow vegetables are all dead without watering. These plants should be seasonal, and many things we grow over there are dying.

This year, there are only a lot of pumpkins. Pumpkin is really dry for a long time before the leaves withered. Now there are still a few pumpkin hanging in my land. Its rhizomes such as pumpkin are very developed, but now pumpkin has also withered and has not harvested.

I have farmers. I was planing the ground two days ago. Sweet potatoes were not long. The sweet potatoes were not long. Because the soil is not moisture, it is particularly hard, it is not growing. In previous years, we need to accept sweet potatoes until October, and it is delicious until it is closed in autumn. Now it should be in the expansion period, but it is germinated and can only be shaved.

Now, the dishes in the ground are not enough for our own home, and I have already started buying by ourselves. Recently, when you go to the vegetable field to collect vegetables, you can collect a few small, long and deformed loofah, and cucumbers are gone. It was all dead leaves yesterday. The leaves are yellow, brown, like the state of late autumn.

We are especially like this season. In fact, it should be lush, all of which are dark green in summer. But this year, there is no spirit. I do n’t take medicine, do not apply fertilizer. There are many grass. Now the grass is dried up, and it is a piece of yellow.

【3】 Miss the best seedling period

Now because of the high temperature, the autumn has passed, but the autumn broadcast cannot begin, that is, the most drought -tolerant crops cannot be planted. In the small seedling time period, it is not drought to resist, and it must keep it constantly moist.

Now even if we go to pour it sooner or later, the sun is baked at noon, and we die. And there is no water in the soil. It can't eat water and it will die. We planted several batches and gave up. I am now sowing seedlings on the balcony. But some have missed the best seedling period.

There are farmers and two villages around us. Villagers have their own place, and they are very hard to plant vegetables. Every time I go, I will see the old farmers, so I am soaked in my body, and then I still hold the bucket and carry the water, and go to the vegetable field to pour the poor things, which is too miserable.

The villagers in the village next to Caiti, last week, also gathered to seek rain. It is the formal kind of rain, not the "God, you, let's take a little rain" that is not talking on his mouth. But there was still no rain.

The losses caused by drought are great. The open -air planting must not be harvested for half a year. It has a crackdown on our gangs to plant vegetables and grow vegetables, as amateur hobbies. For farmers who live as a living, they may bring them some pressure on life.

Some of us have rented land together, and some have given up, especially some of them are slightly lighter, because they feel too cost -effective, and they are still older. I think there are still a few old ladies and grandpa in the field. Watering it every day without light, I still insist on it.
