On the morning of the 17th, he gave a lecture on the theme of "My China -Korea Public Diplomacy" in the Korean Consulate. It tells the story of his four times to go to Korea to carry out public diplomacy. It is suggested that the stories of young people in China and South Korea learn to tell the two countries' folk friendship exchanges.

Yu Xi said that public diplomacy was carried out by a government of a government to other countries to enhance the country's image or reputation. Public diplomacy and government diplomacy constitute the overall diplomacy of the country. After entering the 21st century, the degree of mutual influence and dependence between countries has deepened. Many countries have further promoted public diplomacy into an important part of global strategic layout, which has suddenly increased the importance of public diplomacy.

In 2013, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and South Korea co -organized the first "2013 China -Korea Public Diplomacy Forum", which has been held every year. The ninth "2021 China -Korea Public Foreign Diplomacy Forum" is also held in Beijing with online and offline ways. Through all -round public diplomatic cooperation, China and South Korea have enhanced national feelings and consolidated the foundation of public opinion for the strategic partnership between China and South Korea.

In September 2016, Yu Xi, as a member of the Chinese media, went to Seoul to interview the delegation and interviewed Park Yuanchun, mayor of Seoul in the Seoul Municipal Government Building. Yu Xichun told Park Yuanchun that there is also a large river with the same name as the "Hanjiang" in Seoul in the city he lives, and the place name of Wuchang has the name of Wuchang. After listening to it, Park Yuanchun lamented that "the same name of the two cities made me novel and kind."

When Liu Zhenlong, the Minister of Culture and Sports and Tourism of South Korea, said, the minister said that he was the 70th generation of Liu Bei during the Three Kingdoms period of China. The South Korean National Central Library has collected Yu Xi's 12 works twice. This is the first time that the library has collected such a large amount of Chinese writers.

In 2020, Jiang Chengxi, Consul General in South Korea, came to Han to take office. After that, Yu Xi took Jiang Chengxi to visit cultural monuments such as Hankou Gude Temple and participated in the exhibition held in Qingchuan Pavilion.

On April 26 this year, 14 young students from Chinese and Korean colleges and Korea became the first batch of Chinese and Korean public diplomatic propaganda volunteers. This lecture is also a training for volunteers.

After the lecture, Yu Xi answered various questions raised by volunteers. He suggested that the stories of public friendly exchanges between the two countries and South Korea publicity volunteers will tell the story of the two countries; the big pattern and the starting point, focusing on the long -term and future of the relationship between China and South Korea, starting from the small things around them; Objectives, clarify misunderstandings, and promote understanding and tolerance; dedicated to spreading the concept of community of human destiny.
