The 2nd Cross -Strait Youth Cultural Moon opened in Suzhou

On August 19th, the "Tongxin and Youth Power" opened the two -strait youth cultural month on both sides of the Straits in Suzhou. Long Mingbiao, deputy director of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, deputy director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, Hui Jianlin, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department, and Cao Lubao, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Suzhou Municipal Party Committee, attended the opening ceremony.

The youth culture on both sides of the Taiwan Strait focuses on culture and youth. It was successfully held in Suzhou last year. Under the guidance of the National Taiwan Affairs Office of the Second Straits of the Straits of the Strait this year, it was co -sponsored by the Provincial Taiwan Affairs Office and the Suzhou Municipal People's Government. For young people on both sides of the Taiwan Strait, they can work together to experience Chinese culture and realize the establishment of a platform for spiritual fitting.

The opening ceremony was concentrated on the site of the Cross -Strait (Jiangsu) Youth Online Literature Week, "Science in Poems" Susai Youth Series Exchange Activities, Fifth Huang Gongwang theme Cross -Strait Cultural and Creative Design Competition, Cross -Strait (Kunshan) Mid -Autumn Festival Lantern Festival, etc. Cross -strait cultural exchange activities, these activities will be held in Suzhou, Nanjing, Taizhou, Xuzhou, Yancheng and other places for more than a month. In addition, the Cultural and Sports Center of Suzhou High -tech Zone was awarded the "Jiangsu Provincial Exchange Base" and the Suzhou Cross -Strait Youth Public Welfare Action Alliance was announced.

Suzhou is the "double highland" of the mainland's economic cooperation and cultural exchanges with Taiwan. As of now, there are more than 12,000 Taiwan -funded enterprises that have been approved. The actual use of Taiwan capital is 35.2 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 50%of the province's use of Taiwanese capital. The Taiwan Youth Entrepreneurship Base and 9 exchanges of Taiwan, 150,000 Taiwan compatriots lived in their own business. Nearly 10,000 Taiwanese young people studied, work, and live here. There are more than 4,000 marriage and family on both sides of the strait.
