The lack of water appeared at the end of July. For a long time, the villagers' drinking water comes from a well on the foot of the village. The water is pumped from the water well to the water tower on the top of the mountain, and then flows from the water tower to each household. Each family paid for the amount of water, and the village hired a special administrator with this money to ensure the safety and stability of water in the village in the past few decades. However, since the summer of this year, high temperatures are continuous, and the amount of precipitation is small, and the water in the well has finally been dried. "Occasionally, there have been occasional water shortage in the past few years, but this year is particularly serious." A villager said.

After the absence of water, village cadres reported to the town for the first time and actively tried to solve the problem. On the one hand, the local emergency administration bureau is contacted to send urgent drinking water to the villagers; on the other hand, pump the water of the Minjiang River to the well for the villagers' daily life.

The village opened tap water to open a new water pipe to laid the road base. Such construction needs to be reported to the relevant departments for approval. "The project funds have been in place, so they are waiting for the approval procedures." Zhang Weiwu said.

The reporter immediately visited the Liandu District Wenguang Travel Sports Bureau. The relevant person in charge of the bureau introduced that because Tongjiyan is a national key cultural relics protection unit, some of the blocks of Yantou Village are within the scope of cultural relics and construction control areas. The project needs to be reported to the National Cultural Relics Bureau for approval. The project has been approved by the higher -level departments in 2021. As early as September 23 of that year, the State Administration of Cultural Relics had agreed to the project, but the owner units such as the Lishui Dijiang Tourism Resort Management Center and other owner units did not complete the plan to modify the plan and report again until August this year.
