The first batch of national intellectual property strong city construction pilot demonstration cities were selected as 10 cities in Jiangsu

Strong city construction demonstration cities, Nantong, Wuxi, Changzhou, Huai'an, Yancheng, Zhenjiang, and Yangzhou were selected as pilot cities for the construction of strong national intellectual property cities, and the number of cities ranked first in the country.

The national intellectual property strong city construction pilot demonstration city is the requirements of the "Outline of the Construction of Intellectual Property Rights (2021-2035)" and the "Fourteenth Five -Year Plan" National Intellectual Property Protection Protection and Application Plan issued last year. For procedures such as recommendation, material review, and expert review, the first batch of 38 cities (urban areas) was identified as a national intellectual property strong city construction demonstration city, and 72 cities (urban areas) were selected as pilot cities for the construction of strong national intellectual property cities. According to the relevant notice of the State Intellectual Property Office, the time limit for the pilot demonstration was from July 2022 to June 2025. These pilot demonstration cities will counter the construction standards of strong nations of intellectual property rights, gather advantageous resources in all aspects, and jointly build a regional intellectual property work highland, lead the high -quality development of intellectual property rights in various provinces, and provide strong support for accelerating the construction of intellectual property power.

Recently, the State Intellectual Property Office has also publicized the results of the assessment of the national intellectual property strong county construction demonstration county and the national intellectual property power construction demonstration park. A total of 48 counties (cities, districts) in the country intend to be identified as a demonstration county for the construction of a strong national intellectual property. A total of 22 parks intend to be identified as a national -level intellectual property power construction demonstration park. Jiangsu occupied five seats, namely Suzhou Industrial Park, Suzhou National High -tech Industrial Development Zone, Nanjing Jiangning Economic and Technological Development Zone, Wuxi National High -tech Industry Development District and Xuzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone.

In terms of intellectual property innovation pilots, Jiangsu has also made great achievements. In the 2021 national intellectual property administrative protection work performance assessment, Nanjing, Xuzhou, Nantong, Yancheng, Wuxi, Suzhou, Changzhou and other 7 cities and cities ranked among the top 30 among 157 cities across the country, ranking first in the country.
