Starting from August 1, 2022, in the 9 provinces and cities in the three areas of the Yangtze River Delta, Fujian, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Chongqing and Guizhou, the first time in the area, the resident ID card was opened to "cross -province".

Starting from October 1, 2022, pilot work has been gradually launched in other provinces and cities across the country. Before the end of the year, it is possible to apply for the first resident ID card in the pilot area to apply for the first resident ID card.
