The Ministry of Finance and the State Administration of Taxation recently issued a notice on the preferential policy of personal income tax in Guangzhou Nansha, which aims to implement the relevant requirements of the "Overall Plan for the Deepening of the Guangdong -Hong Kong -Macao Comprehensive Cooperation for the World".

The notice pointed out that its personal income tax burden on Hong Kong who work in Nansha, Guangzhou exceeds the part of the tax burden of Hong Kong;Essence

The individual obtains stipulated in the notice include the comprehensive income from Nansha, Guangzhou (including four income, including wage salary, labor remuneration, manuscript remuneration, and franchise fees), business income and talent subsidy income identified by local governments.The implementation scope of the notice is the whole area of Nansha District, Guangzhou.

The execution period of the notice is from January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2026.
