"Without a revolutionary theory, there is no revolutionary action." In order to help the general public understand the experience of the Chinese revolution correctly and master the basic theory and methods of the Chinese revolution and construction, in October 1951, the first volume of "Mao Zedong Selected Works" was officially issued, and the first batch of total circulation exceeded 620,000 copies. Under the advocacy of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the people from all walks of life quickly set off a wave of learning Mao Zedong's works. With the publication of the second and third volumes of the "Selection of Mao Zedong" in April 1952 and April 1953, Mao Zedong Thought was widely spread across the country as the guiding ideology of the Chinese revolution and construction.
In the Third Plenary Session of the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, the "Resolution on Organizing the Organization of Young Man and Mao Zedong's Works" was passed by the activities of Mao Zedong's works launched by the Communist Youth League and organized by the Communist Youth League. About 10 million youths participated in Mao Zedong's works in 1958. Most of them were advanced elements of the Communist Youth League cadres and young people from all walks of life. In January 1960, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China approved the instructions on the "Problem of the Mao Zedong's Works of Mao Zedong's Works" for the CPC Central Committee, so that the young people's learning Mao Zedong's work movement was officially affirmed by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
In April 1960, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the National Federation of Trade Unions, and the National Women's Federation jointly held the "National Youth Learning Marx Leninism and Mao Zedong Works Heilongjiang Live Meeting" in Harbin. From May to July of the same year, the Central Committee of the Youth League also organized the "National Youth Learning Marxism Leninism, Learning Mao Zedong's Watching Group", and to 87 cities in 25 provinces (cities, districts) to conduct observation learning and exchange experience activities. More than 1 million people in various places are promoted and educated. Thousands of young people use Mao Zedong's works as a compulsory textbook to learn and observe, analyze the positions, opinions, and methods of problems, which drives the value orientation and spiritual style of the entire society.

First, guiding and organizing youth to learn Marxist theory in social life practice is the inconceivable responsibility of the Communist Youth League. However, this guidance and organization must follow the natural laws of theoretical learning. After practicing and understanding such a gradual deepening process, we must properly handle the relationship between self -study and "instilling", and we cannot organize theory learning with a political movement method.
Second, the correct attitude towards Marxist theory learning is to adhere to the principle of theoretical connection, adherence to the standard of testing the truth, pay attention to the basic position, viewpoint and method of middle school, avoid moving hard sets, dogmaticism, simplification and vulgar vulgarity It can not be engaged in personal worship and superstition, and we must pay attention to understanding and mastering the entire ideological system;
Third, organize young people to learn Marxism theory must adhere to the principles of consciousness and voluntary the masses, and cannot engage in social compulsory. At the same time, in the organization and learning, they must be treated according to the political ideological level, cultural level, work needs, and hobbies of different people. Different, the method of guiding learning should be flexible and diverse, in line with the characteristics and requirements of young people.
