On June 17, the finals of the Sichuan Province Popularization Explanation Contest ended in Chengdu in 2022. The 20 players participating in the finals presented a wonderful popular science knowledge feast to the public through the form of "independent proposition+random drawing". The competition was hosted by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Science and Technology and hosted by the Sichuan Science and Technology Exchange Center.

The popular science explanation contest has become an important platform for our province's innovative science popularization methods and gathering various popular science talents. Since the start of this contest in March this year, it has received positive response from all walks of life. Compared with the number of contestants, the number of participants has increased significantly compared with last year. A total of 31 teams (71 units) of the province participated in the semi -finals.

The 20 players who participated in the finals were recommended by various departments and cities (states) preliminaries and semi -final selection. The outstanding representatives who highlighted the siege were also the Coper from all walks of life. Their explanation theme covers different fields such as medical, health, energy, weather, materials, archeology, etc., and shows the infinite charm of science and technology in a different way in various ways such as animation simulation, video demonstration, and props model display.

After fierce competition, 10 players including Pan Qian from Dazhou Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital won the first prize of the "2022 Sichuan Province Science Popularization Contest" and were awarded the title of "Top Ten Outstanding Science and Technology Misceliars in Sichuan Province in 2022". At the same time, the competition also awarded 10 second prizes, 20 third prizes, 1 best popularity award, and 20 outstanding organization awards.
