In recent years, many casualties have occurred: On the evening of September 19, 2015, a total of 47 people in the two teams entered the Grand Canyon in the reserve without permission. On the 18th, 12 people entered the Shimen River in Hengshitang in the protected area and encountered mountain floods. Three of them were unfortunately drowned.

2. The National Nature Reserve of Shimen Terrace is not a tourist area. It is forbidden to enter tourism, play, water, hiking, and adventure without approval. The Yingde City People's Government issued the "Announcement on Entering Illegal Activities in the State Nature Reserve of Shimen Terrace, Guangdong" in 2019. It is strictly forbidden to carry out tourism tour, mountaineering adventure, and play in nature reserve in nature reserve. Waiting for activities, those who enter or solicit and organize others to enter the nature reserve will be held accountable in accordance with the law. Each fine was 2,000 yuan; on June 3, 2022, five people including Chen and Huang Mouwei were played in the core area of ​​Shimen Terrace Reserve without approval.
