Because the desert has the characteristics of long sunshine time, rapid water evaporation, severe shortage of water resources, and severe saline alkaliization. A few years before the beginning of practice, the team used direct digging seeds to plant seeds and watering with pots with water. Later, the team tried to use nutritional cups to cultivate seedlings re -transplantation and irrigation. Although the survival rate of seedlings was increased to 60%to 70%, the planting method was too cumbersome, and it was not suitable for large -scale planting in the desert.

In order to improve plant survival and planting efficiency, this year the team adopted a new planting method -directly planting frozen seedlings to maintain a certain planting spacing.
