It was built in December 1989. After a regular bridge test, in 2021, the Changning Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government listed the bridge as a dangerous bridge and decided to demolish and rebuild it. The bidder of the project is the Changning Highway Construction Maintenance Center with a total budget of 31.9597 million yuan, of which the construction of the construction of the construction and security project is 26.5 million yuan, and the total construction period is 12 months. The construction funds come from the subsidies and local support (funding sources) of the national province.
