As the last side of the concrete was poured, the construction of the beams on the Chongming Island Public Freight Terminal project undertaken by the China Communications No. 1 Aviation Bureau Company was completed today.

Chongming Island Public Freight Terminal is located in Chongming Xinhe Town. The specific location is 450 meters east of the Dongping River, about 800 meters south of Chongming Avenue, and about 300 meters west of Baobao Highway. It is divided into two parts: land and docks. The planned shoreline is 600 meters, the planned land area is 22678 square meters, the dock platform is 594 meters long and 15-25 meters wide.

Construction content mainly includes: 8 newly built 2,000 -ton wharf berths, 2 new 8 -meter wide bridge, a total of 965 meters of bridges, 1775 square meters for new land production management houses, and simultaneous implementation of dikes and flood prevention. Affiliated projects such as gates, land oil products and LNG storage tanks, production facilities, and management.

It is reported that the project is a major livelihood project in order to meet the needs of the economic and social development of Chongming District, ensure the safety of people's livelihood and urban operations, and completely eliminate the hidden lives of ship fuel and gas.
