Since the implementation of the "Western Plan", Jiangsu has accumulated 6,346 college student volunteers to more than 200 counties (cities, districts) in 13 provinces and regions in Xinjiang, Tibet, and other western regions to carry out volunteer services;In the year, a total of 1,1620 college students rushed to the northern Jiangsu region to participate in volunteer services, and about 60%of volunteers stayed at grass -roots officers after the service period.This year, the "Northern Jiangsu Plan" was upgraded to the "Rural Revitalization Plan", and the scope of volunteer services expanded from northern Jiangsu to all agricultural counties (cities, districts) in the province.
