Dean Xu Bu met Lin Hongyu, Vice President of Huaqiao University

On August 11, Xu Bu, the secretary of the Party Committee and Dean of the China Institute of International Issues, met with Lin Hongyu, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of the Overseas Chinese University.

Vice President Lin Hongyu introduced the relevant situation of the research and exchange of BRICS cooperation on overseas folk exchanges and relying on Xiamen BRICS Innovation Base.Vice President Lin Hongyu said that in the fields of civil exchanges and BRICS cooperation, he hopes to strengthen cooperation and work together with the National Research Institute to contribute to the development of the BRICS cooperation mechanism.

Dean Xu Bu welcomed Vice President Lin Hongyu to visit, saying that the BRICS cooperation mechanism was one of the most important multilateral cooperation mechanisms in China. The 2017 Vancouver leader Xiamen meeting achieved fruitful results.The National Research Institute is willing to cooperate with Huaqiao University to provide intellectual support for the construction of the BRICS mechanism and strengthening and reforming the global governance system.
