Pay attention to policies. The Pu'er Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government attach great importance to the protection of biodiversity, regularly listen to the report of the protection of wild Asian elephants, set up a leading group of wild Asian elephant protection, and issued the "Pu'er Asian Elephant Protection Management Plan", "Northern Migration Asian Elephant Group Protection, Opinions with the implementation of the relocation work system "and" Pu'er City Wild Asian Elementary School Emergency Plan "and other management systems, coordinate the protection of wild Asian elephants, safety precautions, early warning monitoring and other work.

Strengthen mission and improve the sense of protection of the masses. Through platforms such as broadcasting, television, and the Internet, we will actively publicize the protection of laws and regulations, policies, and safety prevention knowledge and skills of wildlife protection, further enhance the sense of self -protection of the masses, as well as the consciousness of the masses' love and elephants. At present, Pu'er College, Pu'er No. 2 Middle School, and Simao No. 4 Middle School have established a demonstration base for biological diversity education in Pu'er City, and the first Asian elephant textbooks in Pu'er City have been prepared.

Establish a professional image protection team to do a good job of warning and monitoring. Organize 64 professional monitor to conduct 24 -hour artificial and drone warning monitoring of the city's wild Asian elephant groups, and timely feedback the information of wild Asian elephant activities to townships (towns), counties (districts), and through WeChat, text messages, etc. Methods send early warning information to the surrounding people to reduce contact with wild Asian elephants and reduce risks.

Strengthen the construction of security systems. Investment in funds to purchase infrared unmanned aircraft and other equipment to monitor wild Asian elephants in real time, and install solar street lights, safety warning signs, protective fences, etc. to ensure the safety of the people's living environment in the "Elephant District" in the main active area of ​​the wild Asian elephant. At present, the first wild Asian elephant observation tower in the country has been established in the country, and the country's first wild Asian Elephant Elephant Primary School -Simao District Yixiang Town Najib Village Primary School.

Build an Asian Elephant Food Source Base (Elephant Canteen). Since 2022, Pu'er City has built the Asian Elephant Food Source Base on the main activity area and channel of wild Asian elephants, and the main planting of corn, banana, sugarcane and other crops that are mainly planted by wild Asian elephants, so as to grow wild Asian elephants. This meets the food needs of wild Asian elephants and promotes human elephant harmony.
