At 11:28 on August 9th, with a loud explosion, the left cave of the Qishan Tunnel of the Hengyong Highway successfully penetrated, two months earlier than the original plan. It is reported that Hengyong Highway is expected to be opened to traffic in 2024.

The Qishan Tunnel is the key control project of the Hengyong Highway project, and it is the only long tunnel on the entire line. The design is a separate dual -line tunnel. The left line is 2,550 meters long, the right line is 2630 meters long, the single hole is 11.75 meters wide, and the net height is 5 meters. The terrain along the way is large, the slope is steep, and the geological structure is complicated.

The construction of the project overcomes the problems such as loosening, crushing, and soil water content of the cave entrance. At present, the left line of the tunnel penetrates early. The right hole of the tunnel is expected to penetrate in October.

The Hengyong Expressway starts in Yumu Village, Yumu Mountain Town, Steamed Hunan District, Hengyang City. The starting point is connected to the Xuguang Expressway. The route extends to the southwest. Finally, in the north side of Lengshui Beach, Maping Village intersects Erguang High Speed ​​and connects Yongli High Speed. The total length of the line is 106.227 kilometers, and the two -way four -lane highway standard is adopted. The driving speed is 120 km/h, and the width of the roadbed is 26.5 meters.

The Hengyong Expressway is the encryption line planned by the "Seven Episodes and Nine Heng" highway network in Hunan Province. It is a golden channel connecting Hengyang and Yongzhou. After the tunnel is completed, the straight line distance between Hengyang and Yongzhou will be greatly shortened, and the economic integration process of the southern demonstration zone will be accelerated.
