On August 4, 2022, the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences released the 2021 Chinese hospital science and technology quantity (STEM) and five -year total science and technology value (ASTEM). Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine (the Second Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Guangdong Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Guangdong Branch of the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine) ranked 45th in the country's scientific and technological volume in 2021, a record high in the country; in the past five years Both rankings ranks first in the National Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.
