The People's Government of Zhongjiang County, Sichuan Province held a special research and deployment of food safety work

Recently, the Zhongjiang County People's Government held the ninth executive meeting of the 19th session to study the deployment of food safety. Wei Yu, deputy secretary of the county party committee, county chief, and director of the county food security committee, chaired the meeting. Members of the county government leadership team, members of the county food security committees and the principals of township (town) attended the meeting.

The meeting heard a report on food safety work in the first half of 2022, analyzed the current problems of food safety work, and put forward rectification opinions on the bidding issues. Gao Fang, deputy county chief and deputy director of the county food security committee, arranged and deployed the key tasks such as rural "Basaka Banquet" and other key work, preventing edible wild fungus poisoning and summer food safety and campus food safety. The meeting pointed out that food safety is related to the vital interests of the people. All towns and departments must fully implement the decision -making and deployment of food safety work in the central, provincial, cities, and counties, and do their best to do good food safety work. Follow the bottom line of thinking, resolutely build each line of food safety, and do a good job of food safety work strict, tight, and from the reality.

Wei Yu demanded that one must attach great importance to strengthen the sense of responsibility and mission of food safety work; second, we must strengthen leadership to ensure that food safety work measures are implemented in place; and third, we must highlight the focus and further improve the level of food safety supervision.
