Diao Faxing has been doing wild Asian elephant monitoring and early warning for 7 years. He has witnessed more and more wild elephants in Kangping Town and Tong Dongzhen's family in Jiangcheng County. At present, more than 50 wild Asian elephants have been in Jiangcheng County. Although the number of elephant groups has continued to increase, there have never been a wild elephant injury incident in the years when Diao Fuxing entered the monitoring team.

Thanks to the continuous exploration of Pu'er City in the construction of habitats, at most, the city monitors 181 Asian elephant activities. In order to realize the harmony of human beings and alleviate the contradictions of the phenomena, Pu'er City explores the construction of monitoring and early warning systems, improving the anti -elephant security system, and building an Asian elephant food source base, etc., and builds a harmonious green home.

Strengthen monitoring and early warning

In the Office of Wildlife Protection and Wetland Management Section of Pu'er Forestry and Grassland Bureau, the distribution of wild Asian elephant groups in the city in real time, including the location, quantity, and mobile direction of the city. These data were all uploaded in real time by the field monitor at the scene, and brought together to the monitoring platform of Pu'er wildlife (Asian elephant) in Pu'er wildlife in Yunnan to form monitoring and early warning information. Villagers in the Elephant Group Activity area scan the two -dimensional code with their mobile phones to know the situation of their surrounding wild elephant activities.
