In 1990, Wu Aimin graduated from high school and was assigned to elementary school teachers in the city. She gave up the opportunity to teach in the urban primary school and returned to Nancun Elementary School and became a mountain village teacher. Nancun Elementary School was the most remote mountain village primary school at the time of Hailing Island. The traffic was closed. The travel needs to go through the mountains. Moreover, the school is located at the seaside, with many rainwater and typhoons. The classrooms of stone tile structure have long been blown by wind and rain, which is often damaged. In order to change the school's teaching environment, Wu Aimin did his hard work and rushed around to raise funds, providing teachers and students with a stable teaching and learning environment, so that they could reassure and learn at ease.

From 1997 to 2010, Wu Aimin raised nearly 300,000 yuan in funds to build new teaching buildings and add various facilities. Nowadays, Nancun Elementary School has been renewed. The new teaching building can accommodate children's classes and students in grades first to sixth. At the same time, they also have libraries, small basketball courts, and badminton courts. The teacher no longer needs to worry about hardware facilities. Nancun Elementary School became the first rural school in our city to enter the comprehensive implementation of teaching modernization. Wu Aimin also won the honor of provincial excellent mountain village teachers, the most beautiful teachers in the province, the provincial three eight red flag bearers, and Guangdong good people.
