The 15 -year -old panda "Er Shun", as a friendly messenger, has lived in Toronto Zoo and Cargary Zoo in Toronto Zoo and Calgary Zoo in March 2013, and returned to China at the end of November 2020. During Canada, on October 13, 2015, "Er Shun" successfully gave birth to dragon and phoenix tires.

In March of this year, the panda "Er Shun" completed the natural mating with the "net red" giant panda "Qingqing" at the China Great Panda Protection Research Center. Under the careful care of the staff of Chongqing Zoo, "Er Shun" gave birth to twin brothers at 8:49 and 9:08 on July 22, 2022. His elder brother weighed 132g and his younger brother weighed 91g.

This is the second time the panda "Er Shun" has successfully produced twins. It is also the first production after returning to China. It is also the first time that the Chongqing Zoo returnees have successfully breed twins.

Chongqing Zoo staff introduced that the zoo began to raise giant pandas in the 1960s, and began breeding giant panda cubs in the 1980s. As of August 8, 2022, the Chongqing Zoo Grand Panda communist 30 abnormalities, including 13 twins and 1 tire twins. There are 21 giant pandas.

In the wild, giant pandas usually ignore or reject the weaker one after giving birth. Choose a stronger one personally. This is their breeding strategy to ensure at least one survival. Chongqing Zoo promptly artificially assisted the giant panda twin babies. One was brought by a panda mother, and the other was artificially cultivated in the nursery box.

After more than half a month of careful education, the two cubs grew well: my brother weighed 420g and his brother weighed 257g. Among them, my brother is stronger, more active, appetite, and rounded. The younger brother is relatively thin, and both cubs are relatively quiet.
