Three Children of Liangshan Children in Sichuan

"Huanxin Park" is a public welfare project officially launched by the Zhejiang Women's and Children Foundation in 2016, providing assistance to family-care for children 5-14 years old.

As of the end of 2021, the project has covered 23 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) across the country, and has helped 8222 households with dilemma, and implemented nearly 160,000 company with caring services. They have their self -confidence and interpersonal ability.

This year, the "Huanxin Park" project was implemented for the first time in Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan.

The Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture is located in the southwestern part of Sichuan, with an altitude of 2,000∼3,500 meters. There are more than 10 livelihoods such as Han, Yi, Tibet, Mongolia, and Naxi. Therefore, helping families are different from the past in customs, living standards, and living conditions.

As the project improvement stage is about to end, the project team member Xu Lan (director of the project project) and Sheng Yunlan (project commissioner of the children's department) and other teams rushed to a hot summer day, spanning 2,000 kilometers, and went to the Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan to visit. Exchange experience with the project executive and make suggestions.

Along with the light rain in the morning, the project team and his party came to the home of the assisted target Xiao Deng -Fuxing Town, Mianning County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province.

The two sisters and brothers were looking forward to the arrival of volunteers and partners at the door, and enthusiastically took us to their new rooms, clean ground, neat beds, and regular storage sheets.

Due to the inconvenience of his father's legs, he had a burden of housework with his sister at a young age. Take care of Dad, cook, and clean up the room.

Before the transformation, the sister and brother could only squeeze together, and the sister had no independent room. After understanding this situation, volunteers can discuss with Xiao Deng to share the new bed to my sister, other furniture and sister.

Now, the two siblings have lived in the newly transformed room, and the sister finally has a dream new bed and independent room.

When the volunteers asked Xiao Deng's wish, he replied very satisfied, "I am very satisfied with my current life, and I have no wish."

Short and sincere! Every precise assistance brings a full positive energy to a family!

After leaving Xiao Deng's home, under the leadership of volunteers, we came to Xiao Liu's house, who was also a assistant target of Fuxing Town, Liangshan Prefecture. The mountains in the distance are looming in the mist, and the joy of harvesting in the fields nearby, and the sound of poultry formed the movement of life. Stepping into the house, the furniture was neatly placed, and the simple and warm fireworks came.

Because Xiao Liu's brother lags behind his peers in intelligence, their father deliberately arranged the two children in the same class, and Xiao Liu also assumed the responsibility of taking care of his brother. My brother was also very sensible. After seeing us, he was not timid. He greeted us very warmly. The sincere smile on his face was impressive.

Despite the difficulties of life, Dad Liu still attaches great importance to the education of children. He said, even if it is difficult, let the child read some books!

The suffering of life has never made this family suffering, the family's warmth guards the child to thrive, and reading and study also gives children the power of choice in the future.

The project team came to the home of Xiaofang, a helping target of Wuhe Village, Mianshan Town, Liangshan Prefecture. When you come to the village, the yellow outer wall, the roof, and the wall are obvious.

When I walked into the house, the hut after the "renovation" was furnished by a brand new bed, wardrobe and desk.

Volunteers and sisters asked the little girl's study and daily life cordially. During the conversation, Xiaofang said that he wanted to draw a painting to us. After a while, a pair of pictures jumped on the paper, and the simple love reflected her thanks to all her brothers and sisters who helped her!

Although this painting is simple, but love is full. When we see this painting, our long journey is exhausted, and our hearts are full of comfort and sense of accomplishment!

In this return visit, the project team was deeply touched, and the children's happy smiles were the biggest motivation we persisted. For children, having a good living environment is the beginning of embrace the future of happiness.

The implementation of the project requires the collaboration of all parties. In addition to transforming the child's living environment, the companionship of love is equally important. We must be good at discovering children's flashing points, combined with family education, and change the way of communicating with children and family through accompanying services, and entering full of positive energy for family education.
