The Yinlan High -speed Railway Zhonglan section was introduced from Zhongwei South Station. It passed the Lanzhou New District to the Lanzhou Hub in the west. The design speed was 250 kilometers per hour, with a total length of about 219 kilometers.

The Xiangshan Tunnel is located in Shapo Toutou District, Zhongwei City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. It is about 17.8 kilometers in length. It is the first tunnel in the northwest. It runs through the Xiangshan Mountains. The buried depth of 380 meters is the control project throughout the line.

The tunnel started on October 19, 2018. It adopted the method of short tunnels to open 5 diagonal wells, 10 palm noodles, and carried out cyclic operations for 24 hours. Faced with complex geological conditions, the construction unit adopted the "curtain grouting and reinforcement+surface precipitation" technical solution, which greatly reduced the safety risk and cracked the construction problem of the flowing sand segment.

The Yinlan high -speed rail is an important part of my country's "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high -speed railway network Jinghu Yinlan Channel, and it is also an important traffic infrastructure in the core area of ​​the "Belt and Road" construction and development. After the line is completed and opened to traffic, it will become a fast passenger channel connecting North China and Northeast my country in the northwest of China. It is of great significance for promoting the development of the western region and promoting regional economic and social development.

The middle orchid section of the Yinlan High -speed Rail is expected to have the operation conditions at the end of the year. At that time, the running time from the central defender to the Lanzhou train will be shortened from the current 5 hours to more than one hour.
