The preliminary design of Foshan West Station from Guangfo Ring Road to Guangzhou North Station was approved

Yangcheng Evening News reporter Ouyang Zhiqiang reported: Recently, the "Approval of the Preliminary Design of Foshan West Station to Guangzhou North Station from the Pearl River Delta Intercity Railway to Guangzhou North Station (hereinafter referred to as" Approval ") was officially issued. The total construction period of the project is arranged in 5 years (including joint testing and operation tests), and preliminary design budgets are 2264,184,100 yuan.

According to the "Approval", the Pearl River Delta Intercity Rail Transit Guangfo Ring Road Foshan West Station to Guangzhou North Station Project (Guangfo West Ring Intercity) is located in Guangzhou and Foshan City. Metropolitan District and Baiyun District stopped at Guangzhou North Station. The line is 47.023 kilometers long, of which the elevated section is 35.394 kilometers long, the underground section is 10.065 kilometers long. There are 9 stations on the entire line, 7 new stations, and 1 professional training section of intercity railway.

The "Approval" mentioned that this line of train is recently made up according to 4 and 8 marshals, and 8 marshals in the long term. The design speed is 200 kilometers per hour. There are 9 stations on this line, namely Foshan (excluding), Shishan, Dallang, Guanyao South, Hegui, Carbon, Huadu Port, Shenshan North, Guangzhou North (excluding) and other stations. Foshan West Station and Guangzhou North Station are existing stations, and Gui Station will be set to the hairline.

The "Approval" shows that there are 7 new station buildings on this line, namely Shishan Shandong Station, Daliang Station, Guanyao South Station, Hegui Station, Carbon Station, Huadu Port Station and Shenshan North Station. Among them, except for the underground station building, the remaining six stations are elevated bridge stations.

According to the "Approval", the scheduling zone of this line is included in the unified jurisdiction of the Guangfo Ring Road. In the later period, the management of the intercity railway operation of the Pearl River Delta needs to be adjusted. The line is designed by the unified operation and management of Guangzhou Metro Group.
