Enshi Street is a famous food and beverage street with a total of 107 catering users. At present, it has been installed with gas leakage alarm. The reporter followed the staff of the Qingshan Heat and Gas Service Management Center to a store named "Journalus". This store uses canned liquefied petroleum gas, and the alarm is installed near the ground.

The staff introduced to the reporter from the Yangtze River Daily: "In layman's terms, liquefied petroleum gas is heavier than air, so the alarm is installed 30 cm from the ground; natural gas is lighter than air, so natural gas alarm device is generally installed in a higher position."

Subsequently, the reporter came to a store named "Qian Shopkeeper". This back kitchen used natural gas, and the alarm was installed above the wall. China Resources Gas staff brought a can of "standard gas", which was specifically detected the alarm. After seeing the staff released the gas, the alarm sounded immediately. "When the gas leaks, the alarm sounds, and the pipeline is automatically cut off, which plays a good prevention role."

It is understood that in accordance with the "Safety Production Law of the People's Republic of China", "if the production and operation units in the catering and other industries use gas, the production and operation units of the catering and other industries shall be installed." According to the relevant person in charge of the Municipal Gas Development Center, there are currently 45,000 catering users in our city, and more than 30,000 households have installed gas leakage alarms. It is planned to complete all catering users installed at the end of June.
