The draft revision of the Women's Rights Protection Law has been solicited to more than 300,000 public opinions

The reporter learned from a press conference held by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress on June 16 that after the second review of the draft amendment to the Women's Rights Protection Law, a total of 80,960 public opinions made 300,504 comments, and nearly 100 people from the masses were received.

In December 2021, the draft revision of the Women's Rights Protection Law appeared at the meeting of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress for the first time, and conducted a second review in April 2022. This is another major adjustment after the implementation of the Women's Rights Protection Law for nearly 30 years. In response to social concerns, revised the second review of the draft draft to establish a compulsory report and investigation system for infringement such as trafficking women, strengthen the protection of the right to rest and promotion during pregnancy and childbirth during pregnancy, and improve the prevention and control measures for sexual harassment and sexual assault.
