Panyu two departments jointly carried out night diesel truck inspection law enforcement operations

Recently, the Panyu Branch of the Guangzhou Ecological and Environment Bureau and the Panyu District Public Security Branch launched a joint law enforcement operation at the Liangliang Road inspection of diesel trucks. That night, the joint inspection team inspected a total of 30 diesel trucks. The inspection found that the exhaust emissions exceeded 2 diesel trucks, all of which have been ordered to rectify.

During the joint law enforcement operation, the traffic police brigade of the Panyu District Public Security Branch was responsible for stopping the diesel trucks driving on the road and guided vehicles to the designated location for inspection. Inspection, the "Notice of Maintenance within the Limited Limitation" was issued under the emission of diesel vehicles over the standard, and the "Guidelines for Law Enforcement Work Law Enforcement Works" in Guangzhou Motor Vehicle exhaust pollution roads was issued to urge them to choose repair plants for maintenance.

In response to the characteristics of not fixed routes of diesel trucks, the Panyu Branch of the Municipal Ecological and Environment Bureau has strengthened law enforcement, carried out the diesel truck inspection work in key sections in the area, and severely investigated and punished diesel trucks to discharge illegal acts. Since 2022, the branch bureau has launched a sampling of diesel trucks. A total of 1928 diesel vehicles were sampled, of which 130 vehicles exceeded the standard and the pass rate was 93.3%.

Relevant personnel of the Panyu Branch of the Municipal Ecological and Environment stated that diesel trucks are an important source of nitrogen oxides at air pollutants. Strengthening the pollution control of diesel trucks is of great significance to promote volatile organic matter and nitrogen oxidation.
