Hua Ning Tao, known as "Ningzhou Pottery" in ancient times, has the reputation of "living fossils" of Huaxia ancient pottery, and has unique artistic appreciation. Hua Ning Tao began during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty. It was an important part of Yuxi Kiln, an important kiln farm outside the Jingdezhen of the Ming Dynasty, with a history of more than 600 years.

Hua Ning pottery products are based on the high -quality white cement unique to Huining. The fired pottery has delicate texture, beautiful shape, bright color, its glaze is yellow like pure gold, green is like jade, white like sheep fat, orchids like gems, and green like swords. Qi, green like pine smoke, exquisitely opened. The representative green glaze left the folk proverb of "Ningzhou pottery burned green".

Bowl Kiln Village is the source of Huining Tao. It is located under Huaigai Mountain in the northwest of Huining County, Yuxi City.
