Zhang Tao Lin won the "Outstanding Contribution Medal"

On August 4, Dr. Zhang Taolin, deputy minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Ministry of Agriculture and Rural, attended the 22nd World Soil Science Conference in Grasgow, England, and accepted the "IUSS DISS DISTINGUISHED Service Medal" awarded by the International Federation of Science and published award -winning speech. Before the meeting, Zhang Taolin met with Dr. Reys Sanchez, Chairman of the Federation of International soil Science and Dr. Winfrid Blum, a honorary member.

Zhang Tao Lin emphasized that soil has multiple functions in agricultural production, environmental protection, and ecological construction. It has diversified value in providing food, fiber, energy, and response to climate change. Policies and regulations are very important and urgent. As an important promoter and contributor to global food security and sustainable agricultural development, China is willing to continue to deepen the protection and use of international exchanges and cooperation with all parties to continue to deepen the protection and utilization of soil resources.

The International Soil Federation is a global soil science academic organization established in 1924. Since 2012, the "Outstanding Contribution Medal" has been established since 2012.
