On August 3, the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China held a press conference on the theme of "China Ten Years · Guizhou".

Qi Yiqin, Secretary of the Guizhou Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China and director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, said that Guizhou held the province's power to launch a total attack to absolute poverty. All 66 poor counties took out their hats, 9.23 million poor people were poverty alleviation, and 1.92 million people moved out of the mountains.
