After five years of development, Siyi Village, Lantian Town, Shufu County, developed from a village that has never been bee -raised to 10,000 boxes of beekeeping, becoming the largest village in Shufu County.

Sayi Village is located at the foot of Kunlun Mountain. Starting in March each year, apricot flowers, peach blossoms, and sand jujube flowers under the mountains will be opened for the second time; by May and June, red dates bloom; in July, mountain flowers are all over the wild; cotton is open in August and September. Looking at the rich flower resources around the surrounding area, in 2017, the China Petroleum Tuha Oilfield Branch in Siyi Village "Visit Huiju" work team planned the beekeeping industry for the village.

"At the beginning, the villagers were watching the beekeeping attitude. After extensive mobilization, the first batch of only 10 households responded." Said Yu Fei, the captain of the "Visit Huiju" team of PetroChina Tuha Oilfield Branch in Sayi Village.

The villagers did not have the experience of beekeeping, and the work team contacted the beekeeping experts to teach. However, it is easy to train an industry. When there was no brand when they started, the villagers could only bring honey to Bazaar for cheap sales, selling 2030 yuan per kilogram.

In order to lift the worries of the villagers, the work team promised: if the honey cannot be sold, the company will acquire it.

"Beekeeping two years ago, we have been promising to acquire the bottom. Later, we packed honey and increased publicity. Since 2019, honey has gradually been selling, and it has developed to the present, and the supply is in short supply." Yu Fei said.

Avagli McMati was the first batch of farmers who responded to beekeeping. In the first year, 10 boxes were raised. By 2021, it expanded to 150 boxes. The beekeeping income reached 300,000 yuan. The income will reach 500,000 yuan.

Now, Avaguli not only has beekeeper, but also has bee -raising with apprentices. He brought 5 apprentices in 2021 and 10 apprentices this year. "My husband and I are both party members. Party members should play a role of modeling and lead everyone to get rich together." Avaguli said.

Sand jujube nectar is a special product of Sayi Village. At first, the highest can sell for the maximum of 40 yuan/kg, and now it is sold to 80 yuan/kg. During this year's "Five Cycles" International Labor Day, Sayi Village held a honey exhibition to sell more than 500,000 yuan of jujube nectar, and bee farmers increased their income by more than 6,000 yuan.

In 2021, the bee breeding cooperatives in Yu Fei Gang Village resolved the production plant, registered trademarks, completed the product outer packaging design, and expanded publicity through Douyin and WeChat. In the future, Sayi Village will rely on cooperatives to participate in various exhibitions, start honey brands, expand honey sales, and steadily entrust the sweet cause of villagers.
