In 2022, under the guidance of the Jilin Provincial Department of Natural Resources, Daan City established a demonstration base for comprehensive utilization of saline -alkali land, introduced nine saline -alkali -land improvement technology units for saline -alkali -improvement technology exploration, and provided technical support for the province's salt -alkali and land improvement in the future.

There is a large area of ​​saline -alkali land in the west of Jilin Province. Since the beginning of this year, there are 52 new cultivated land projects in the western part of Jilin Province. It is planned to add 12,100 hectares of cultivated land, and it is expected to complete the investment of 4.2 billion yuan.

In the future, Jilin Province will complete the survey and evaluation of cultivated land reserve resources as soon as possible, and form a precise and available survey results of cultivated land reserve resources. At the same time, in order to further understand the potential of saline -alkali land rectification and utilization in various places, and effectively support the land landing of the "100 billion pounds of grain" projects. Jilin will be based on the national requirements of the country to match the land ownership, land use rights and soil and soil resources matching of cultivated land.
