Enshi, Hubei, is really a city of mountains and rivers.

I love the mountains here, the ups and downs from the Daba Mountains and the Wuling Mountains, all the year and four seasons are lush, the winter is not cold, and the summer has no cool heat; With hundreds of miles, with the folk customs and ballad legends along the way, they entered the Yangtze River.

When I was more than 7 years old, because of my parents' work, I came from Badong by the Yangtze River to Enshi, and then in the second grade of Xiaoyang Affiliated Primary School. Since then, I have lived in this city for many years. In 1983, the Miao Autonomous Prefecture of Western Hubei was established, and Enshi was the capital of the autonomous prefecture. Since then, Enshi has entered the fast track of economic and social development. Especially in the past 10 years, it has ushered in a historic leap from poverty to comprehensive well -off.

When I went to elementary school, Enshi City was divided into old town, Wuyangba, Tushaba, and Xiaochang. Today, only the old town still has some traces of past. Enshi people have always been cautious about the transformation of the old city. The old city is on the west coast of the Qingjiang River. It has a long history and has built four doors from east, west, and north. Later, the north gate was gone. The "North Gate" actually refers to a long street along the river. The shops on the street are the most prosperous and lively parts in the city.

The south gate not far from this still retains an old city wall and city door. The city wall built on the mountain is high at the top of the mountain, and the Qingjiang River is faced with a low place. The huge rocks of the steamed Kanka are used as the rivers and the streams as the cricket. It is very solid. I returned to Enshi the year before, and saw that the wall of the South Gate was still tall, and I couldn't help walking back and forth in the city gate. Looking up at the mottled wall, I touched the moss's stone bricks, and I wanted to know whether the situation of the city's head experience was engraved into this vicissitudes.

Wuyangba used to be the center of Enshi City, standing the latest and highest buildings in the city at that time. One is a post and telecommunications building, the other is the dance Yang Department Store, as well as an Oriental Red Cinema, and a passenger station that the urban and rural people attach great importance to it. At that time, Enshi traffic was extremely inconvenient, and this passenger station was the only transmission hub. Dawn is the busiest. A large number of passengers who carry baskets and carry boxes took the tickets that they bought the day before, and lined up at the gate of the station. From Enshi to Badong 204 kilometers, Panshan Road and diesel cars are departing at 6:30 in the morning. It is necessary to walk for more than ten hours, and the sky shakes to Badong County. If you want to go to Wuhan, you have to take another two days and two nights of ships to reach Hankou Wharf.

In recent years, Enshi ’s traffic conditions have been completely changed. Railway, highways and new airports have narrowed the distance between Enshi and the world at once. National Highway 318, National Highway 209, Yiwan Railway, and Shanghai -Chongqing Expressway run through the entire territory of Enshi, with a total of 4,932 kilometers of highways in the city. In the sky and underground, in all directions. In order to repair these railways and highways, Enshi ’s children did not know how much effort and hard work had paid. I have seen some old friends in Enshi Railway in Beijing many times. They have been physically and mentally intertwined in the design, construction, and technical correction of the Yishou railway project in those years. Never regret, because this is the dream of the people of western Hubei for many years.

Now dreams finally come true. From Beijing to a train to reach Enshi City. After the train passed through Yichang, it felt like a cloud driving. The train is either on the high viaduct parallel to the top of the mountains, or it is into the long mountain tunnel, through the mountains and ridges, and the wind is galloping. Looking out the window, the rural houses along the way have changed from the past soil walls and slate houses to beautiful small buildings. The large mountain is returning farmland to the forests. Enshi's forest coverage has been close to 70%. This is the mountains and rivers, and now it is even more green.

The train reached Enshi and walked out of the station with the Tujia hanging foot. It was immediately found that the familiar Enshi City became unfamiliar and novel.

If you want to look at the whole picture of Enshi, you must go up to Wufeng Mountain. In the past, I often called friends to climb Mount Wufeng. The mountains are not high, but there are several miles of sand and stone roads from the foot of the mountain at the foot of the mountain. Sometimes you can copy the road and go up, and you have to climb out of sweat. At that time, standing on the top of Wufeng Mountain can see the whole city of Enshi, and the old streets have their own characteristics. The favorite is the blue water under the Qingjiang Bridge, like green silk. In recent years, it has boarded Wufeng Mountain, and I saw a new bridge with different shapes on the Qingjiang River. The "hydrophilic corridor" along the river is like a garden. The modern high -rise buildings are rowing in a row, stretching towards the distance one after another. Qiliping, walnut dam, and Qifeng dam, which were regarded as a remote countryside, have been regarded as market markets. Jinshan Avenue, Shizhou Avenue, Dongfeng Avenue, Longfeng Avenue ... There are dozens of district streets in the city named Avenue. In the past two years, due to the name or rename of the 60 roads under construction and construction, it also caused heated discussions among citizens, which shows that the construction of urban construction is changing.

I stood on the top of the mountain and watched the mountain city. I wanted to find the place where I lived before, and there was a small street that I walked all year round. Friends stretched out their arms and pointed one by one, but they always felt like they were. There was a little surprise in their hearts and a little vision. Seeing nearby, there are the selenium states square and the wind and rain bridge; overlooking the distance, there are magical Grand Canyon, Subtabin Forest, green mountains and green water. Enshi, this ancient and young city, is giving a green rise between the beautiful landscapes given by nature in the new era.
