Regulations on the Protection Regulations of the Rights and Interests of the Autonomous Region are introduced

On July 29, the 34th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 13th National People's Congress of the Autonomous Region reviewed and approved the "Regulations on the Protection of the Rights and Interests of the Elderly in the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region" (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations"), marking the official introduction of the Regulations.

The "Regulations" are divided into seven chapters, including general rules, family support and support, social security and preferential treatment, social services and livable environment, participating in social development, legal responsibilities and attachments.The Regulations will be implemented on September 1, 2022.
