It is reported that the national standard of "Tourism Resort Level" was promulgated in 2010 and was officially implemented in 2011. Since 2019, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism organizes the revision of the national standards of the "Tourism Resort Level". The specification expression and other aspects were revised. As of now, there are 45 national tourist resorts and 631 provincial tourism resorts.
