It is reported that the Shujing Bay Bridge has three major advantages in design: to "reduce the burden" for the bridge, to actively respond to the country's "energy conservation and emission reduction" call, and create a "green rock highway". The steel structure bridge was adopted. The total weight of the bridge was about 2480 tons, which was reduced by more than half compared with the conventional concrete bridge. In order to "save time" by the bridge, comprehensively implement the concept of "modular manufacturing and prefabricated construction" in the construction process, maximize human and material resources, and shorten the construction cycle. Each cross -steel box beam is split into 14 sections. After processing in the prefabricated plant, the overall assembly will be completed on the spot. It can be completed by single -span installation in just 7 days. In order to "fitness" for the bridge, because the bridge across large debris flowing grooves and is located in a cross -break belt of a high -intensity earthquake, a new type of non -binding prestressed large span steel mixed structure is used for special geographical geological conditions. Compared with traditional concrete bridges, the bridge applied to this structure has the advantages of large span, good seismic resistance, and strong recovery after disaster.

As of the end of July 2022, the Capital Expressway has completed a total investment of 2.302 billion yuan this year, with a cumulative investment of 7.714 billion yuan in construction, accounting for 44.3%of the total investment of 17.408 billion yuan. Since the start of 39.7%of the roadbed projects, 37.1%of Qiaoyan projects, and 51.1%of the tunnel projects; the construction of all 7 interoperability, 18 tunnels on the entire line, and important wading bridges including Urban Pharma.

The Shishi Expressway is a "red road" that is highly consistent with the Red Army's Long March path.
