Ambassador to Uganda meet with the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organization delegation

On June 13th, Ambassador Zhang Lizhong in Uganda met with Ye Anping, the director of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization and the Director of the Three -Party Cooperation Department, and his party. The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization Three -Party Agricultural Cooperation has conducted exchanges. Ambassador Zhang said that under the leadership of the leaders of the two countries, China -Ukraine's comprehensive partnership has been developed in depth, and the political mutual trust foundation has a solid foundation, including pragmatic cooperation, including the agricultural field. China attaches great importance to cooperating with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. In the past 10 years, the two parties have carried out technical demonstration and promotion of grain production, apple industrialization, large -scale production of vegetables, farmland water conservancy facilities, and aquaculture and feed processing in Uganda under the framework of the South -South cooperation framework. The results were significant and effectively promoted the industrialization of Uganda. The embassy is willing to continue to strengthen cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, and deeply dig the potential of China -Ugnan cooperation under the framework of China -Africa cooperation, focusing on promoting a batch of "small and beautiful", "benefit people's livelihood" and "fast results" projects. Deepen the connotation of Zhongwu's comprehensive partnership.

Director Ye introduced to Ambassador Zhang the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization in the field of agriculture and Africa cooperation with Africa and the cooperation between China Wusun South (Phase III) projects in the field of grain, animal husbandry, fisheries and other fields. The coordination and innovation cooperation model of Ukraine, on the basis of the successful cooperation in the first two phases, strive to make Uganda a regional cooperation demonstration center of China and the United Nations Grain and Agriculture Organization in South -South cooperation in Africa, in order to help the economic and social transformation and development of Ugand.
