Xiao Yanyan is a research librarian of the Nanchang Bayi Memorial Museum. After joining the work in 1987, he was committed to pursuing the relevant information of the Nanchang Uprising Participants. And this work is also a matter of thinking about the "Eighty -1 people" since the establishment of the Memorial Hall.

Near the "August", in order to improve the information of the list wall, Xiao Yanyan dialed a call from an old man in Hunan.

The old man on the other end of the phone was Zheng Li, who worked in the Party History Research Office of the Municipal Party Committee of Zhangjiajie. After retiring, he and his friends visited Nanchang Bayi Memorial Hall and found that there were only 32 participants from the Zhangjiajie Uprising from Zhangjiajie. According to him, at least thousands of people in Zhangjiajie participated in the Nanchang Uprising.

Since then, Zheng Li has found the Nanchang Uprising participants as the most important thing in retirement. Due to the age of the age, the process of pursuing the process is difficult and long. Checking a lot of visits and information review of each name, often returning without success.

However, Zheng Li was never discouraged. In the piles of historical materials, he used the sea to make needles and visited the descendants of the revolutionary.

The efforts from retired elderly people made Xiao Yanyan feel that the pursuit of "Eighty Hall" was not lonely. The staff of the memorial hall searched for clues from the information such as the oral history of archives, sorted out the place where the participants were born, fighting, and lived, and sent a letter to the local party history to ask for assistance to find.

In a detailed and long work, the blank information of the sequence of the uprising unit is gradually filled.

The efforts of the travelers have confirmed not only the names of more Nanchang Bayi participants, but also the touching deeds of the ancestors' dust in history.

Yuan Guoping is an important pioneer and leader of the political work of the New Fourth Army. He admitted to the 4th Political Science Section of the Huangpu Military Academy in 1925 and joined the Communist Party of China at the end of the same year. In 1927, Yuan Guoping participated in the Nanchang Uprising.

During the preparation of the memorial to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the Nanchang Uprising, Xiao Yanyan contacted Yuan Guoping's son Yuan Zhenwei and accidentally discovered another family book written by Yuan Guoping to his nephew.

In addition to family books, Xiao Yanyan also got a autobiography of Yuan Zuiru.

In 1927, Yuan Guoping and Yuan Zuiru brothers participated in the Nanchang Uprising together. After that, considering her mother's livelihood, her sister was young, and Yuan Zuru returned to his hometown in Hunan. In 1928, Yuan Guoping was sent back to Hunan to carry out underground work to rebuild the party organization destroyed by the enemy. Under white horror, Yuan Zuiru assisted Yuan Guoping and underground traffic workers, and covered Yuan Guoping's underground work with his family.

In early 1941, the Kuomintang, represented by Chiang Kai -shek, launched the "Southern Anhui Incident" that shocked China and foreign countries. Yuan Guoping, director of the Political Department of the New Fourth Army, sacrificed.

For the latecomers, this is destined to be pursuing without an end. More researchers are receiving the relay stick of their predecessors.

These numbers have been increasing through unremitting pursuit and hardships. Pursuing the footprint of the hero, recorded the pursuit of future generations, and will continue.

On the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the Nanchang Uprising Participants List added 54 people, and the list will be expanded to 1120.
