Cameroon's first China Standard Construction highway opened to traffic

The Minister of Cameroon Public Engineering Zhu Messi said at the opening ceremony that the highway was connected to the Kerbishagang and the entire Cameroon, which facilitated personnel and material transportation. This project "like a pearl of development" will promote the industrialization process of Cameroon.

Kazakh Treasury Minister Mota Sa said that Kazaka has always maintained friendly relations. The highway undertaken by China Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. is one of the results of close cooperation in Kazakhstan.

According to Zhang Wenfeng, deputy general manager of the China Harbor China and Africa Regional Management Center, the total length of the Crib-Ralabe highway is about 38.5 kilometers, two-way 6 lanes, and the design speed is 110 kilometers per hour. In addition, there are two interchange, 3 separate interchange, 1 main toll station and 1 ramp toll station along the road along the highway. The project was officially started in December 2014 and was completed in September 2021.

In 2018, the Kerbi Phase 1 project, which was constructed and operated by China Harbor, was officially put into use, and has become an important infrastructure to promote the economic growth of Cameroon, and radiates inland countries such as the African Republic and Chad. Zhang Wenfeng said that the opening of the Kribi-Ralabe highway is a key step in breaking the bottleneck of the local economic development, and it will improve the local business environment and create employment.
