Feel the bloody life!Founding of General Zhou Shizhi's series of exhibitions

In order to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the "Founding General Zhou Shizhi Series" planned by the Guangdong Revolutionary History Museum opened at the Guangzhou Uprising Memorial Museum today (August 1).

Zhou Shidi was the first student of the Huangpu Military Academy. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1924. He participated in the establishment and leadership of the Iron Armor team and Ye Ting's independent regiment. He participated in the Northern Expedition and Nanchang Uprising. In 1955, he was awarded the rank of generals. He contributed his strength to national independence and liberation.

The exhibition reflects the determination and courage of the Chinese people to resist the danger of the nation since modern times, and also reflects the unity of the Chinese Communist Party to lead the Chinese people to fight blood and indomitable struggle.

This exhibition, through more than 200 pieces of cultural relics (sets), and rich photos, charts, etc., showed a comprehensive display of General Zhou Shidi's revolutionary career, reflecting Zhou Shiden's noble moral sentiments and lofty personality, as well as His affection for Guangzhou.

One of the exhibits was a diary written by Zhou Shidi from 1936 to 1940. Zhou Shidi, who served as the chief of staff of the 20th Division in North China at that time, recorded the situation in the battle between the war.

This set of diary is an important historical material for studying the War of Resistance Against Japan. From this, everyone can understand the history of the Anti -Japanese War between North China and the 200th Division, but also understand the work of the chief of staff.

The exhibition will be open for free to the public, and it will last until October 31.
