From the selection of materials, making ship types, hulls, placing samples, and assembly, they are all handmade. The material of the manufacturing dragon boat is mainly fir, supplemented by camphor. Wood should go through the air drying for more than a year, and the moisture level must reach the standard. Opening, drawing, carving, polishing, polishing, coloring decoration, after a dozen procedures, a qualified dragon boat can be produced.

For forty years, Zheng Xueyou has continuously introduced new and improved craftsmanship, and changed the previous U -shaped bottom to the bottom of the T -shaped, lighter and faster, and this improvement has obtained a number of national patents. The dragon boat he created has won the Fourth National Traditional Dragon Boat Gold Award and sold Hanshou Dragon Boats to Hunan, Hubei, Shandong, Guizhou, Jiangxi, Zhejiang and other places.
