This illustration comes from the picture book "Cat Paradise" published in 1919. The author is the famous British illustrator Louis Wayne. He is famous for his painting "anthropomorphic cat".Writer George Owa was also his fan, and commented that "Louis Wayne invented a cat style, a cat society, a complete cat world."

Unfortunately, Wayne's life was not lucky.In 1924, Wayne was diagnosed with schizophrenia and was subsequently sent to a mental hospital.He spent the fifteen years of the rest of his life, but most of the time he continued to paint, and some of them became more and more abstract.The cats are all around the various magnetic field -like ripples.
