Overseas Network, July 31. According to the Indian media "Indian Times" on the 31st, some Indian scientists believe that monkey acne virus may have existed in India for many years, but it has not been discovered.
Scientists from the Institute of Genome and Integrated Biology from New Delhi said that the case of monkey acne appearing in Karara, India has nothing to do with the global acne epidemic caused by the previous Spanish "Super Communication". The first two cases in India have been measured as A.2, while the epidemic of Europe out of Europe was triggered by B.1. In addition, the scientist of the institute also concluded that the time for monkey acne may exist longer than knowing now, and it has not been recognized for many years.
Skalia, a clinician and computing biologist at the institute, said A.2 strains found on Karara patients usually appear in the United States (Florida, Texas, and Virginia) and Thailand. "Among the virus groups from the United States, the earliest samples can be traced back to 2021, which indicates that the virus has been spreading for a long time, earlier than the epidemic of monkey acne outbreaks."
There are currently 4 cases of diagnosis in India, of which three patients from Karara have a history of exit, and one patient in New Delhi does not. Jacob John, a retired professor of Virus of Walol Christian Medical College, said, "Monkey acne is not a serious illness. Although India may have had cases, it has not been noticed."
