On June 25, the China Engineering Education Professional Certification Association and the Ministry of Education's Higher Education Teaching Evaluation Center issued the "Notice on the announcement of 422 professional certification conclusions such as the Mechanical Engineering of Southwest Petroleum University" (Identification Association [2022] No. 21), I The certification of school mechanical design and manufacturing and its automation major (hereinafter referred to as "mechanism professional") is "passed certification, valid for 6 years", and the certification conclusion is valid from January 2022 to December 2027.

In October 2020, the mechanism professional submitted a certification application to the China Engineering Education Professional Certification Association and the China Machinery Engineering Society. In February 2021, the China Engineering Education Professional Certification Association accepted the certification application and agreed to carry out professional self -assessment work. In July 2021, according to the requirements of education certification, the mechanism specialized submitted self -assessment reports and its attachment materials. After multiple rounds of evaluation of the evaluation experts, the review and approval passed the self -assessment report. From October 17th to 19th, 2021, with the strong support of the school and relevant departments, all teachers and students of the Department of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering and the Department of Mechanical Engineering overcame the difficulties and successfully completed the online inspection process of the project certification expert group. The height of the expert group is affirmed.

Engineering education professional certification is an international engineering education quality guarantee system, and it is also an important measure for the reform of engineering education reform in my country. Adhering to "student center, output -oriented, continuous improvement" is the basic concept of engineering education professional certification. In recent years, the school has attached great importance to the certification of engineering education. During the revision of a new round of undergraduate talent training programs (2019 edition), it actively promotes the OBE concept, deepen education and teaching reform, and strives to build a high -quality talent training system for first -class universities.
