On July 30, the China Water Conservancy Museum launched the "Haihai Tongji -International Waterway Cultural Exchange Exhibition".

The exhibition aims to strengthen international water culture exchanges and promote mutual learning. The exhibition is held under the guidance of the Global Water Museum Alliance and the support of the National Water Conservancy Museum Alliance.

Since ancient times, my country's water conservancy construction has clearly unblocked river channels, reinforced dikes, water storage levels, and built hubs. In addition to flood prevention and water supply, farmland irrigation, they have the advantages of water transportation. The development of the "road of maritime porcelain" has promoted cultural dissemination and exchanges while commodity trade.

In the past, exhibitions about the "Maritime Silk Road" were mostly exported overseas goods in my country through waterway. This exhibition was different from the past. The reporter learned at the scene that it displayed the import of imports from our country from a unique perspective and vision. The exhibition collected more than 150 pieces of "foreign goods" from various countries from the late Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China. These utensils have interesting information such as foreign language, trademarks, age, and events on these utensils. Observing these exotic shipping products, you can find that in the process of exporting and input commodities in waterway, international cultural elements and science and technology are constantly absorbing, blending, and progressing.

The exhibition is divided into six chapters: Comparative research, listing my country's ceramic culture and snail craftsmanship abroad. Foreign enamel, glass, and western medicine have been introduced to China, showing that the Chinese nation has the style of spreading excellent culture for the world, as well as tolerance to absorb foreign culture.
